About Lorna & Rob
Rob and I got together in 2001 to share a home as well as a love of creative crafts.In 2002 I was diagnosed with uterine sarcoma and had to give up my day job. It seemed like a good idea to begin an internet based business which would fit in around my treatments, that was when www.allthatjazz-crafts.co.uk came into being. Rob threw himself wholeheartedly into helping out wherever he could as well as being a wonderful nurse AND having his own full time career.
As the years went by by we got married, moved house several times, increased our family to include our lovely pugs, Chester & Maisie and cats Sydney and Dolly whom we adopted and enjoyed visits from family and friends.
Now settled in our own home in Yorkshire we continue to pursue our creative interests. Rob paints and has a gallery here on The Artists Web (www.rob-soar.co.uk). He also wire wraps beautiful gemstones and is currently involved with me in the investigation and development stage of a business venture making hand crafted luxury soaps.
I'm still living with cancer and there won't be a cure for me but I try to make each day mean something by creating at least a part of a new piece of artwork or jewellery.
